User Roles

Our platform has four user roles; Administrator, Assessor, Team Manager and Team Member. You can have more than one role at the same time. The only exception to this is that you are not allowed to be an Assessor and a Team Manager/Team Member in the same scope. This is to preserve impartiality and prevent users from scoring their own answers. 

  • Administrator: The Administrator is a specialist role responsible for ownership of your account with Apomatix. Along with the Team Manager role it is automatically granted to the user who sets up your organization’s Apomatix account. As an Administrator you control your organization’s Apomatix license, and can renew or upgrade this when required. Asides from this, the Administrator role cannot perform any other functions, and if a user wishes to take part in an assessment they will have to combine the role with either the Assessor (if scoring) or the Team Manager/Team Member (if answering questions) role.
  • Assessor: The Assessor role is for those users who want to score the answers of a Team Manager or Team Member (and for this reason, those roles cannot be held simultaneously within the same scope). An assessment can be performed by an internal auditor reviewing the work of their colleagues, or by external auditors who have been brought in to assess your organization. As an Assessor a user has the ability to; invite or delete users (e.g. other auditors involved in the assessment), add additional scopes and/or frameworks, view and score answers (together with associated comments and/or attachments) and view the dashboard.  
  • Team Manager: The Team Manager role is an enhanced version of the Team Member role. Along with the Administrator role it is automatically granted to the user who sets up your organization’s Apomatix account. As a Team Manager a user can; answer the Discovery questions (when first setting up the account), invite and/or delete users, add additional scopes and/or frameworks, answer questions (including adding comments and uploading attachments) and view the dashboard.
  • Team Member: The Team Member role is for users needing to answer questions as part of an assessment. As a Team Member you are able to answer questions (including adding comments and uploading attachments) and view the dashboard.
